Hilfe zur Ausbildung für Yvonne Mania
My name is Yvonne Wairimu Maina, born on 4th November 2005. I was taken to nursery school where I studied and was very competent.
Later I joined primary school which took me a duration of eight years and sat for the Kenya certificate of primary education. When my sister and I continued with our education my dad passed away in the year 2014 and my mum in 2015 where it is not easy.
I have one sister who is Milkah Mukami Maina. She was studying at Laikipia University and completed on December 18th, 2024, and graduated with second class upper division in Journalism, she is yet to get employed so that she can cater for her personal needs.
After the completion of my secondary education, I joined Nyandarua National Polytechnic, where I'm pursuing artisan in plumbing. Later I will be moving to the next level which is certificate.
I'm determined about what I'm studying and believe it will help me and my sister.
Now I live with my uncle in the village near Nyahururu where challenges are inevitable and it has not been easy because he is not employed.

"After successfully completing level 4 plumbing ,I was excited to begin level 5 and experience a new stage in my course .The first weeks were mostly about introductions ,understanding the units ahead ,and getting used to the new environment and expectations. Together with my classmates, we slowly settled into the new level while attending a few practical lessons to refresh and improve our skills .
Even though the work is light , I'm enjoying learning and improving my plumbing skills step by step .
For my next step I expect the work to be more practical and serious compared to level 4 and since I already finished level 4, I have the foundation that I need to handle the tougher work ahead."
